The secret to forever-young skin is in your fridge!

Cryotherapy, which literally means “cold therapy,” is a technique where the body is exposed to extremely cold temperatures for several minutes.

This ice facials suggest rolling four or five ice cubes in a soft cotton cloth. It’s recommended to use the covered ice cubes to gently massage the face with circular motions for a minute or two.

The circular massage can be performed a few times every day on the jawline, chin, lips, nose and cheeks to gain multiple benefits including:

Rreducing puffiness around the eyes and delaying the appearance of wrinkles and acne. It reduces pores, so the oil secretion decreases, it also relieves dark circles, improves skin health, and helps soothe sunburn.

Wash your face before icing and use a cloth or some other barrier between the ice and your skin because this will protect your hands and face. Avoid holding the ice on your skin for too long since prolonged exposure to freezing temperatures can result in ice burn.
